Samuel Johnson’s Dictionary?

I thought that developing a Skill for Alexa was going well, and it is. Everything is all set to get it submitted for approval. However, considering the Skill I’m developing is asking and finding out about terms and issues on lawns and turf surfaces, it has started to become a task of labyrinthine proportions. Where one word seems to finish, another one pops up as needing a suitable user friendly definition and description. An article in the Guardian this week

My Alexa Skill Development

I’ve had some really good learning experiences with developing my first Alexa Skill: It is almost ready to be submitted for approval. Deconstructing the sample code and then adding in my own requirements was not as painful as I first thought. What I did find was that to help me with the development process the use of multiple displays significantly improved my experience. Coding would appear on one screen; Amazon Web Service showing the Lamda function code on another screen
